What it is for

Have a document or a pasted text read aloud.

The steps

1. Tap “Open a file” or “Paste a text”.
2. Tap “Read”.
3. The word being read is highlighted; tap a word to continue from there.
4. Change the speed or the voice at the bottom.

What is kept

Reading happens on your phone; nothing is kept on our servers.

Common mistakes

• No sound: check the volume and the voice language.
• A scanned PDF (photo) has no text: first use “Automatic typing”.
